Coach Gilbert takes the time to understand the past and current fundraising done in the community. This gives him a chance to better understand how contributions are collected for a program.

This involves thinking outside of the box. A chance to come up with creative solutions for fundraising and introducing new lucrative ideas to the program.
Community and Alumni Outreach
Gilbert takes the time to build strong relationships with the community and alumni. These relationships can be leveraged to help support the resources needed for a basketball program. It is essential to build and recognize sponsors for their contributions.
